We are very pleased that you would like to submit your work to us for consideration. We do our best to accommodate everyone, so please read the instructions below to ensure that the submission process goes as smoothly as possible.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT queries or unsolicited manuscripts via e-mail. Any queries or unsolicited manuscripts sent to us by e-mail will be ignored.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT UNSOLICITED COMPLETE MANUSCRIPTS. So please, DO NOT send us your manuscript in its entirety unless we have contacted you and requested that you send the completed work. Please note that while we do love to hear from you, a phone call to our offices does not affect this policy.

If you would like to query Victoria Marini, you can either follow the guidelines below OR submit electronically through WEbook. Please note, this is ONLY if you are querying Victoria. Deborah Schneider, Jane Gelfman and Heather Mitchell can only be reached by following the steps below.

If you are unsure what constitutes a “sample chapter,” just please try to keep it under 40 pages. MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE A SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE so that we can return a response. You can expect a response within four (4) weeks.

Do you accept screenplays?
Unfortunately, we do not accept screenplays. We all enjoy a good screenplay, but we are not the right agency to help you with your film and/or television projects.

Do you accept Poetry?
We accept query letters, synopses, and samples of completed Poetry manuscripts.

How do I submit?
Please take a look at the “Submissions Guidelines” located in the main section of this page for information on how to submit to us.

How do I follow-up on a Submission?
If you followed all the submission instructions and have not heard back within 4 weeks, please write to us at with subject line “query follow-up.” This is ONLY for instances where your submission has not been acknowledged by us within 4 weeks.

Should I include any sample material besides sample chapters?
If you feel that we would benefit from any relevant articles, features, newspaper clippings etc.., please feel free to include them. However, DO NOT SEND VIDEOS, CD’s, DVD’s or other audio/visual material as we will not be able to open it.
